Clear a Retention Label from a taxonomy

Clearing a retention label does not delete the retention label, it only dissociate it from the selected taxonomy.

1.  Navigate to the taxonomy details page and click  icon on the row of the lowest level of your taxonomy (e.g. business-process level) for which you want to clear the retention label.

A dropdown list is displayed.

2.  Click Edit.

The Business-Process is enabled to be edited.

3.  Click M365 Retention Label tab.

The M365 Retention Label is enabled.

4.  Click  icon against the Label Name.

5. Click Save

The retention label is cleared.
