2. Install Taxonomy Dashboard

Before installing this Web-part make sure the Taxonomy Administration web part is installed, refer to this article to learn more about installing the Taxonomy Administration.


Follow the steps below to install the Taxonomy Dashboard web-part.


1.  Navigate to Pages and Create a New Site Page.

2.  Enter the page title, e.g. Taxonomy Dashboard.

3.  Click the  icon to add the Taxonomy Dashboard web part.


A dialog is displayed.


Note:  You can use the Search option to find the Taxonomy Dashboard web part.


4.  Select Taxonomy Dashboard.


The List Creation dialog is displayed.


6.  Click Yes.



Note:  DO NOT REFRESH the page until the setup is complete.



The Taxonomy Dashboard web part is added to the page.


9.  Click Publish.


The Help others find your page pane is displayed.


10.  Click Add page to navigation to enable an easily access through the site navigation.


11.  Click Copy link to the page to copy the URL of the Dashboard page to the clipboard.  


Note:  This URL is required for setting up the Taxonomy Details web part.



12.  Click the icon to close the Help pane.


The Taxonomy Dashboard page is installed successfully.
