Although it is not recommended to unpublish a taxonomy because you lose track of changes, sometimes it is useful to make small changes without going through the creation of a new version.
Note: When a taxonomy is unpublished, it reverts to a draft state, which makes it invisible to users with read-only access.
Follow the steps below to unpublish a taxonomy.
1. Navigate to the taxonomy details page that is published.
The taxonomy details page is displayed.
2. Click Un-Publish.
The Warning dialog is displayed.
3. Click Yes.
The Success dialog is displayed.
The taxonomy is reverted back to draft.
